and staying on-site. I know we get the perk of being able to go to all the MM while there, but how exactly does this work? Do we just present our hotel key with our ticket when we go through the gates? Because it is an "unwritten" perk, has anyone ever been turned away when they have already used up their 1 MM on say Tuesday and then tried to go again on Thursday?
First time staying on-site and I know absolutely NOTHING!!! Please fill me in on any and all information. Thanks!

Yep, you just show your room key along with your ticket. I have never heard of a problem and the hotel reminded us about the perk when we checked in. :thumbsup2

They can your ticket which has a MM (Magic Morning) credit on it. So it isn't about staying on site and using your room key. Any guest that gets a 3day PH or longer also gets a MM.

Take advantage of your MM in Tommorland or Fantasyland to get in some rides before the hugs population of general guests come in.

There is a resort perk of Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness, is this what you meant?

It's an un*advertised* perk that guests of the resorts get Magic Morning every MM day of your stay (including check-in day if you're there early enough as well as check out day, assuming, of course, that one or both of those days is a MM).

But it's NOT un*written*. In fact, they have it all on a nice sheet of paper, telling you about it when you check in. If you get a good CM they'll note for you what days during your stay are MM days!

And yep, your ticket gets you into the park on that day, but the room key gets you in for MM, so show both!

Hmmmm, really? I asked a CM about this a few months ago and they told me that it was only for people with a 3-day+ PH. I asked because when I was looking to book a vacation package, MM wasn't under the listing of "Special Features" like MTMM is but I had thought that you got MM just for staying on-site. How long ago was this piece of paper given to you?

They've been doing it as long as I've been staying onsite...Sept '07 through Oct '09 (and I know there have been people since then who got it), and the CM you were talking to almost surely was not IN the resort, or even in Anaheim....the CMs that answer the phones generally don't know, well, quite a bit.

MTTMM, except for one person mentioning that it was in a hotel brochure recently sent, is something that goes along with booking a package, and even people offsite, if booking a package through a WDTC-using company, will get the MTTMM voucher.

It's not just on a piece of paper, by the way. I mean, it is paper, but it's a sheet of themed (to that resort) people, with all the other little things they want you to know about the hotel for your stay. The little things you can book (Sephora makeover before Sephora opens, BuildABear thing before BAB opens), the little tours and events they have for resort guests, etc etc, along with checkout time and everything else. Very official.

Or, to be more accurate, it was a calendar from the GCH with the MM during our stay (3 of them) circled. The CM checking us in said we could go to every MM while we were at the GCH so long as we brought our room key w/ the tickets. We did have a parkhopper but that was a separate perk. Ie, acc. to what they told us, 3+ day parkhoppers have a one-day MM entry encoded on them. If you stay on site, you can use MM every day regardless of what kind of ticket you have (at least acc. to what we were told). In fact, when we got scanned for our second MM, it was denied and the CM had to override it (we had parkhoppers and room keys w/us). We used MM three days. It wasn't particularly crowded -- I think lots of people just want to sleep in on vacation.

Also, we noticed lots of people getting into both parks early due to breakfast reservations. I think at least some of the people going into DCA were not actually having breakfast w/ Ariel, lol (they don't check to confirm reservations).

We also had the Toontown entry -- those came in a booklet w/ our Costco package and was a package perk not a hotel perk (for us at least).

I have enjoyed MM on three different visits WITHOUT a 3 day+ park hopper. All three times because i was staying at a DLR hotel. :cool1:

It's a perk available multiple times during one's stay at a DLR hotel (at least each day it's offered....currently T days & S days) & it's definitely available the day you check out of a DLR hotel AND the day you check in.

NO ONE in 4 years i've been on the board, has reported not being able to enjoy MM each day it's offered (if staying at a DLR hotel).

Count on it. Plan on it. Use it. :thumbsup2

:)

Yep. Got it even with my AP (which has no MM perks). As bumbershoot said it's UNADVERTISED....I've even heard that the WDTC CAN'T advertise it for whatever reason.

Thanks guys!!:thumbsup2 We are really excited about this trip and now plan to utilize all 3 MM that are available to us while there.
I already warned DH that I will forever be ruined to staying off-site after this trip:lmao:

If your family are early risers it's a fantastic perk. (What time zone are you coming from?)

If possible get to the security tent 35-40 min. BEFORE MM starts on the first day (or all days ;))....it will put you at the front of the turnstiles.

Since it WILL be early & snack/breakfast spots might be hard to locate that early, consider splitting (2 ways or 3 ways) one of the "big breakfasts" using room service. At the Paradise Pier, we found that it worked out to about $8 per person for the two of us. (& 3 could easily eat off it if you're looking for a little "get up & get going" snack).

Have a great time & tell Toadie "Hi" for me!

Getting up early will not be a problem for us as we are an hour ahead of California. :goodvibes We had already decided that we would have some sort of sancky food (granola bars and fruit) to munch on while getting ready on MM and then later on in the morning going for breakfast in the park. ie Riverbelle Terrace. The only morning that might be an issue in regards to getting up early is Saturday. Especially if we close the park on Friday.

will definately tell Toadie "Hi" from you :thumbsup2
