Question about MK to AK to Disney Springs & transportation?

We (4 adults, mostly 20 something yos) will be staying at SoG on 12/6 & 12/7. On 12/7, I'm thinking of starting our day with early morning time at MK to make sure we see & ride everything we want to, hop over to AK and stay until they close (7pm), then head over to Disney Springs for a late dinner/shopping, etc.

I'm trying to decide if it's best to take Disney transportation from MK to AK, and then AK to Disney Springs?

Or go to MK, go back to SoG and pick up the car, drive to AK, and then drive to Disney Springs?

OR park at MK, then drive to AK and then drive to Disney Springs?

Since we're staying at SoG, can we park at AK & MK for free?

I don’t know about SOG and parking at the parks, but I do know there are no buses from parks to DS. You could take a bus from AK to AKL or any Disney resort and then transfer to a DS bus, or take a bus from AK to SSR (Congress Park stop) and then walk to DS. Then bus DS to SOG at end of the evening.

We would take our car, especially if we had free parking at the parks.
