Question about Mission:Space

I don't ride M:S, but my husband does. He was wondering if there is "really" a toned-down version of the ride now, and if so, how do you go about getting on it? Is there a seperate line? Do you just tell a CM??

Yes. "Orange" is the original and "Green" is the toned-down (no centerfuge) version. When I was there in August there were CM's out front handing out slips of paper of what was involved in each version. You could make your selection and when you got to the head of the line you simply went into your appropriate color group.

You choose before you go in and have to carry the paper to the guide. I haven't been on the new one but my understanding is that it doesn't spin.

The green version is great, Lindsay. No spinning but the experience feels very close to the original (now orange) and without the after affects that many experience. I like green.

OK I went green and will say it is a once ina alifetime! You know those people they are refering to that get motioon isckness well I am one! So you would think I would have lsitened NOPE!!! Just a defiant kid I was and boy I will comply next time! I spent the afternoon in our hotel room

I am usually a motion sickness type of person and I loved the new mild version of Mission Space! It gave me the experience without any of the G-force or spinning. It was excellent!

Just got back today...did the "mild" version and I was fine, I usually dont do simulators because after doing Body Wars once a while back I said "never again" but this one was just fine.

Okay... I get sick on the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. I survived Body Wars, but there were times I shut my eyes.

What does the green version of MS actually do?? If it doesn't spin at all, is all just the visual and some seat shimmies? Compare it to Body Wars and Star Wars.... please?

Does the mild version move at all? I can't imagine it being much more then a movie on a small screen if it just sits still.
