Question about Meeting Princesses and Tinkerbell

Oh, and if they like Jasmine, you can catch her outside of Aladdin's Oasis at different times throughout the day. We walked right up one time and the other time we waited about 5 minutes to meet her (with Aladdin).

Yep they still appear their. Last week they were out there quite a bit and only once did I see her alone.

As for PFF, we have lined up before it opens the last couple times to shorten the wait. I was told by the CM's that they always start with the main three princess for the day, and then rotate them out periodically with other princesses. And, if I remember right, the main three are Cinderella, Aurora, and Belle.

Someone else posted here that they started the day with the original (?) three which were Cinderella, Aurora, and Snow White. Could be that Snow White and Belle alternate though.

Someone once posted that Aurora occasionally shows up instead of Cinderella in Drawn to the Magic but I haven't heard that since. Just mentioning it in case someone's heart is absolutely set on Cinderella, to know that it might be technically possible to get another princess.

We rode the train back to Mickey's Toontown and were going to go in for our early entry day but were really late. We noticed that the line 830 am was not long at all so we got in line for the PFF. We went right in at 9 and met Aurora, Cinderella and Minnie Mouse. It was awesome! I would suggest doing that. By 845 there was quite a line.
Later we had reservations for AG and we saw Ariel, Belle, Snow White, and Cinderella. Needless to say my 3 1/2 year old was in heaven!
Also we walked right in to see Jasmine in the Oasis.

We went to PFF late in the day last june near closing and just before the parade and the wait wasn't that bad, maybe 35 minutes. We saw Pocohantus, Cinderella and Aurora. You should see the pic of my daughter with Cinderella, it is terrible, but so funny, she looks like hurry, get this thing over with, I'm tired of smiling and with a very very very forced, awful, ugly smile. It is so sad because my DD looks so cute in it. I'll find it and post it. It's hilarious. Aurora and Pocohantus are fine, but ms cindy, oh dear.

We have been to Drawn to the Magic a handful of times and Cinderella has been the princess in the show every time we've been. She has always stood on the left of the stage (if you're facing the stage) so we make sure we get a seat in the far left front area so that our kids can hop into her autograph line right when the show ends.

We've seen Snow White once, also at the left at the stage.

It seems to me that when we got in line at PFF in 07, it was 20 or 30 minutes before it was to open. After it opened, I seem to recall that our wait was STILL 45 minutes to an hour. When DO people start lining up?

We went to line up about 20 to 25 minutes before the opening last November. They made us wait near IASW - when we arrived there were several families already there. Then they told us to walk up to PFF and people started running - it was crazy. At PFF was yet another rope where they made us wait until official opening time. Then another run to the actual queueing area.

When we went there for opening in November it were Aurora, Snow White and Cinderella, in that order. I was fifth in line that morning and there was definitely no switch before.

Seriously??? What a MESS! I thought Disney had this rope waiting thing down. They've had several years to get this one right..... I"m amazed they have not come up with a more orderly approach. So am I likely to be OK lining up 30 minutes ahead? Then keep alert and don't become distracted or a bunch of other people will run up ahead of me? That's nuts!

That is neat. I haven't seen Pocohantus around. I used to know her;).

That's very cool! We stalked her for a while until we finally found her at AK on a trip to the World. We asked every time we entered a Disney park and they thought we were crazy! :lmao:

Yes, I'm totally serious. I was on a scooter and my leg got kicked by parents running with strollers worse than during the Nemo stampede during Magic Morning. I was quite surprised too - when Pixie Hollow opens they usually have everyone form an orderly line before they open the rope to the actual waiting area.

The first stampede before we were allowed to line up at the rope was bad enough, people were coming from all over the place then. Everyone really was just milling about the IASW area (before the kiosk thing) and when the "go" came (I assume from a CM, I didn't really go in the middle of everything so I didn't see) the place turned into a zoo.

But at the rope the space was much more tight and to this day I am still surprised that I didn't hit anybody. My friend isn't that much into princesses and she was totally stunned: "Is it worth getting yourself or your kid injured to see an *expletive deleted* princess 5 minutes earlier?"

30 minutes later and being careful should mean you are okay, but it doesn't really guarantee someone will run up ahead of you. I didn't pay too much attention (like I said, I was afraid to hit someone), but my friend says at least 2 of the 4 families in front of me arrived later than us.
