Question about Mears

I have always taken Mears to a resort near the Disney properties, buying my ticket at MCO. I wanted to pre-book this time, so tried their website. It lists only the Disney related resorts. I called the phone number and was told they have NEVER gone to other resorts. Has anyone taken the Mears bus or van to a resort other than Disney lately? Is this something new? Should I wait until I'm at the airport to see if Mears will take me to my resort, like I've always done, or should I try to pre-book with someone else? How do other people travel to their close-to-Disney resort, when there is only one person to pay for it?

IDK if Mears does it anymore but they used to have a shared shuttle van that you could also book. I took it from my Disney resort to Universal Studios but that was 15 years ago.

The last time I took Mears we stopped Drop off at 4 non-Disney resorts before going to any WDW resort, It was almost 90 minutes until I got Dropped off at my Dis Resort. That was the last time I used Mears.

Can you say how recently this was? I have never had this happen and I usually take Mears from the airport to my WDW resort.
