question about ME and Ticket changes

Hi. DD and I are making a trip to WDW feb 12-19. We booked our trip through disney on line, airline tickets and hotel. I made the reservations through the Me online to get our luggage tags and the reservations. i got the confirmation email from them too. However this week the disney rep. called me to tell me that the plane was no longer going in a straight shot and they had to change my tickets. So now i am going at different times and instead of a straight shot to mco we now have a stop in between.
I asked the lady about the me and asked if i needed to change it and she said no that it would be taken care of. I still havent gotten my luggage tags yet, but am hoping they will be here by monday since we are exactly 21 days out today. Does anyone know if i need to call ME and ask them about it or just use the lugagge tags ( that i hopefully get soon)?
thanks in advance. this is my and DD first airplane trip and i am a little worried. I wouldn't want to panic in front of my DD..lol

Use the luggage tags that come, the change in your flight plans will not effect your incoming trip. Your luggage is pulled before it gets to the baggage claim area. You are on your way to check in at the DME counter, you check in, get on your bus and your on your way. Your luggage will arrive at your resort later.
When you check in at the DME counter they will confirm your return information, if they have not rec'd the new information you provide it to them and then 2 days before your return date you will get your information on the door to your room regarding your pick up time.
