question about marriage licence.

A friend came over the other day and asked me if there is some rule about having to be in the state of florida for X amount of days before you can legally get married there.. I told her no, I didn't think so, but I would ask and find out just in case.

so, do you have to be in the state of florida for a certain number of days before you get married? I really don't think so because aren't there some brides who fly to florida and get married the very next day?

Nope!
You can even do it by mail if you wish!

The only stipulation is that if you are a FL resident there is a 3 day waiting period. I guess we don't mind if other people have shotgun weddings but we want residents to have some time to think about it???
