Question about Manchester NH airport

Hi,
I live in central Mass and was wondering how long a drive is it to the airport in Manchester. Is it a nice airport? How reasonable is the parking? I am looking at it as an alternative if I can get a cheap flight to Orlando in November. Thanks for the help.

I'm guessing from central Mass it's about 2 hours? You can use mapquest.com to check the distance. We fly out of MHT about once a year and it's a very nice airport and easy to navigate. Parking is never a problem. You may also want to check Allegiant Air out of Worcester. Their fares are quite reasonable unless you're going Thanksgiving week. We flew them out of Portsmouth last October and we were very pleased. They fly to Sanford rather than MCO but Sanford airport is a nice little airport, MUCH smaller than MCO which makes it quick to get through.

Manchester is a nice airport. You will prefer it over Logan. Parking in the lot is $8/day, but sometimes fills up. They do have parking the garage as well, but that is priced higher, $15/day. The garage is nice because it is right outside of the airport terminal. The lots are a little further away, but they shuttles that run frequently. Enjoy your trip!

I am also from central ma and would think it would take about an hour and a half. I am traveling in November as well. When are you going? We are going the day after Thanksgiving. I am looking for flights as well. I might use Allegiant air out of Worcester $89/1 way. They only go to Sanford airport so will have to get a car. Well good luck to you.
