Question About Mama Della's Family Style Menu Prices

I realize that THIS isn’t the “official” menu, that someone basically wrote everything down and put it on the web

But, how does the pricing work at Mama Della’s? Are those menu prices for a family sized portion or individual portions?

It states at the top

* single serving / each additional serving *

Which would make

Vitello O Pollo alla Parmigiana, Marsala, Piccata
Choice of chicken or veal, with choice of tomato, marsala or lemon caper sauce
Chicken $19.95 / $17.95
Veal $25.95 / $23.95

quite expensive!

I ate there 2+ years ago and I don’t recall it being expensive.

Does that pricing mean $19.95 for the 1st family order of chicken and $17.95 for each additional and the wording at the top is just wrong/confusing (a "single serving" is really 1 family serving, NOT an individual serving for 1 person)?

I'm pretty sure the first price is for an individual serving, although the portions are big. The 2nd price is for each additional serving.

We had a large group (wonderful dinner !!) and the waitress advised us that the first price was for individual and the 2nd for each additional - however, if you ordered for 2 that would be enough food to feed 3 people - so we ordered family style (2 servings) for any dish that 3 people were interested in - there was more than enough food for everyone - and we had quite a few hungry men eating! If DH hadn't ordered several 'extra' dishes for the table to taste , we would have saved some $ by ordering 2 servings for 3 people !

Well its just me and my girlfriend going, like it was the last time I went, and I could swear that we ordered family style (1 salad, 1 main dish, and either a pasta or vegetable)and it wasn't that expensive.
