Question about magic hours?

I have to ask: I remember reading here before that some CMs even stake out the restrooms so that no one without proper ID can use them.

1- Is that true or false?

2-Or is that different for the special event parties too?

1- It is false for PM EMH.

2- That situation was not for PM EMH.
I have read that it happened on a couple of specific nights during the hard ticket Parties.

As I said, many posters get these two very different "after regular hours" events confused.

I do agree with this, and it's always cute
to say that, but from a slightly less synical angle...
If it was strictly a "take your money" deal, I think that Disney would try to SELL the EMH to non-resort guests.

They don't, and so I give them props for that.
Disney is very much selling the EMHs. You have to pay them for their hotel in order to get them. I have no problem with that. I preferred E-ride nights even when staying in the WDW hotels, but the EMHs are fine by me. Those EMHs don't come for free, though. There's a hoop - and not a cheap one, at that - that you must jump through to get them.

If Disney didn't think they were profiting from the EMHs, they'd shut them down and do E-ride nights again.

I don't think I'm cynical. I'm a capitalist at heart and very much in favor of the Free Enterprise system. Disney exists to make money and they do what they can to make as much as possible. I don't always agree that they're doing the things that will make them the most money, but that's up to them.

Being aware that things are done for money doesn't make one cynical.

I honestly don't find the hotel cost to be that much higher than outside the park. It is cheaper than when we stayed at HRH all those years in a row.

Sorry all. Didnt mean to incite a war between on site and off site people. I have never stayed offsite and do not know how it goes when you are offsite. I know when we use to go we had to go get wrist bands showing we were resort guests to stay after hours but I saw somewhere on here that they dont do that anymore so I was wondering how they even knew who was and who was not a resort guest.
They now check your room keys before you enter attractions.
