Question about LTT

Hi,

First off, special thanks to those who responded to my one thread on helping me decide which restraunt to go to.

Ok, I have decided to go to Liberty Tree Tavern for my dm's surprise bday lunch, and I have a few questions.

How is the food? (an obvious question ) Also, has anyone had a bday here? What do they do?

We've had lunch there a couple of times and it's been great. The turkey dinner was very good as well as the burgers and salads. I love the colonial theming. Have never celebrated a birthday though and remember there are no characters at lunch.

LLT is one of our favorite lunch stops. AS the previous poster said, the turkey is wonderful. The pot roast is very tasty, too. I haven't ordered a burger there, but I've seen some served and they look fantastic. The service can be a little slow sometimes, but it has never been awful. They are a very busy restaurant.

We celebrated my dd 3rd birthday there. The characters all signed a card for her. when they came out with the dessert, it was a apple cobble , the characters were there to help sing Happy birthday. We went there for diner and had the family style it was very good.

My DH and I have had lunch their a few times. Always enjoy the pot roast! Always enjoyed their bread also, but the last time we were not served it until we asked about it when we already had our entree. Seems because of the low-carb craze they are not putting it on the table unless you ask for it. We think it is worth asking for!! Enjoy!!

Had dinner there. The characters were great. Food was okay - Its stouffers stuff.. so if you know what that tastes like.. then there you have it.

I'd probably go back again once I have gone to all my must try places.

I'm making the PS at 12:45 instead of dinner, because I KNOW my toddler wouldn't appreciate being captive in a resteraunt with the giant characters since he is going through his 'Chucky Finster" phase
