My wife and I were always curious about the rates when staying at the fort for long periods of time. Do you get any sort of discount for long stays? We sat one night under the stars at the fort and tried to figure out what a full hook up site may cost you if you stayed for say 9 months @ $90 per night. That would be in the range of of over $25K. Is that right? If it is, i'm in the wrong business. Just curious

Thats pretty much it, the long term rates went away years ago. You will have to pay the going rates now. I have read on this fourm that are a couple of long termers staying there. You might be able to get some of going discounts AAA Etc. I guess theres that kind of money around. Theres a house for sale in my area for $19,000,000 and $ 455,000 annual taxes.

No more long stay discounts. :(

And worse still, you now pay the day-to-day rates for the length of your stay. Which means any weekends or holidays in there will be at even higher rates.

You can try and work in the discounts where available, but they're scarce. And it kinda really is "work" to find them and get them applied these days.
