Heading to Universal for the first time in early June and had a few questions.

1) I understand that you can't hold any bags (purses?) on the new Harry Potter ride. So, for early entry does everyone head to lockers first thing? Is there any other alternative?

2) I've also read that it was a good idea to bring a change of clothes to Universal parks because there are a lot of wet rides. Is that true?

So, if these lockers are as all important as I am hearing, are there lots of them? And where are they located and what is the price?

Thanks!!

There are free lockers *inside* the line for Forbidden Journey, FYI. (and inside or just outside of most, if not all, of the rides that don't let you have things with you, for free for the approximate time they think you'll get through the ride)

Not sure if there are a lot of wet rides, but the wet rides they do have do NOT mess around. There's no "will I or won't I" get soaked...the answer is YES you will. So bring wicking clothing, bring more clothing, bring ponchos...you'll be getting wet on the wet rides. :)

There are 3 different types of lockers.

There are lockers near the rides that won't allow you on with any bags except fanny packs (Forbidden journey, Dragon Challenge, MIB, etc). These are free for the time it takes you to ride.

There are pay lockers ($3 for the first hour, additional $ for more time)near the really wet rides, Dudley's log ride and Pluto bilge rat barges. You will get dripping, soaking wet on these rides.
Jurassic Park also has a possibility of getting slightly wet but nothing like the other 2. Well, unless you're in the front.

There are also lockers inside the entrances of both parks. I think they are $8 for the day.

Many of the rides have water effects, but are nothing more than a mild mist/small spray.

The only rides where you get wet/soaked are: Jaws (maybe wet), One Fish Two Fish (pure luck/skill as to how wet), Jurassic Park (wet, maybe soaked), Ripsaw Falls (totally soaked), and Popeye & Bluto (totally soaked)

Thanks! So happy to be able to get this info up front from the experts!
