Question about Life Insurance

We are in the process of getting new life ins. policies. The one we have
now is due to expire and we been looking into new ones. We have
narrowed it down to State Farm or Farmers as the two with the
best rates for us. Hubby is 55 and I am 52 .
My question is this:
my hubby wants to know if anyone has ever had either of these
companies for their life ins. and what are your thoughts on them.
Good bad or otherwise. Ever had a family make a claim and they
didn't pay up. WE are looking at Term life insurance. NOTHING
else .

We live in Minnesota if that makes a difference.

I'm not asking about auto, renters, disability, or any other kinds
of insurance,, just life insurance.

My mom had State Farm and we had no trouble after she passed away.

Also State Farm wants 400 more dollars a year in premium.
Not sure what we get for that ,,,,,,

we also could not find a company that offered 15 yr. term , seems
they only go 10 and 20 years because of our age
