question about le cellier

We have an ADR for Le Cellier on our upcoming trip.. I have been of course looking over menus.. Can anyone tell me if the coffee Kansas City steak is SPICY?

No not really spicey.

My husband had this last Dec and loved it. I tasted it and didn't think it was to spicey.

It sort of tastes like a little "burnt, charcoal" flavor, just a hint though. Was pretty good.

Not as good as my Prime Rib though....mmm, I can't wait to eat that again! LOL

No it's not spicy. I also had this in Dec and loved it, it was cooked to perfection and it was the best steak I had over the 14 night trip. I wouldn't hesitate to order it again!

I had it 6 days ago, and not really spicy at all, just a good flavor.

Nope, not at all spicy - just full of awesome goodness. Had it two weeks ago - fantabulous!

Is this the one with the coffee rub? Does it impart any coffee flavor? I do not like coffee flavor but otherwise this steak looks very appealing. I don't like beer but I love beer battered shrimp so I'm hoping it is a similar story with this steak.
