My family and I (ME, DH, DS3, DS11, DS13) are making our first trip to RPR in less than two weeks and I was wondering if anyone had any info on the laundry service at RPR? We will be there for a week and I would rather pack as light as possible and be able to wash a couple of loads while we are there, but I saw that they have 'laundry service', which I am assuming that they do for you?? Has anyone ever used this and if so, how was it? Was it expensive? How quick? Thanks!!

Never used it , but think it was expensive. We usually use the laundry room just as you go out the doors at tower 1 , ground floor as you go out to go to the pool, it is over to the right. usuallu put the laundry and come down when it is due to be finished, same when drying. We usually do it when there is rain about.

They have a very nice laundry room w/ lots of washers & dryers. I did a load once and I was the only guest there (so unlike WDW;) ). There was a tv and chairs. You'll need your room card to access the room.

I used the laundry room at RPR too and it was very nice and convenient. The prices on the laundry service seemed really high to me. We're staying at PBH this time and they don't have a laundry room. I have always washed at least 4 loads of clothes during a vacation for us (there are 5 of us), but it looks like we may have to pack more clothes this time.....

I know it would be tempting to have it done for you, but honestly, I agree with the other posters that it is a very nice laundry facility, comparatively, and easy to use. I would recommend doing your own!

Anyone remember what the prices are?
I don't remember, but I want to say it was around $5-$7 per shirt-that adds up when you're talking about several family members needing laundry done!

Thanks to all who responded!! You've been a big help. I didn't want to use the laundry service at all and would have preferred to do my own, I just couldn't find anything on the web site that said they had washers & dryers for guests to use. I'll just add laundry detergent to my packing list!! Thanks Again!!

As much as I would prefer not to do laundry on vacation I always end up having to. And now the airlines are being so picky about the baggage. Now I don't even bother trying to bring enough clothes. We always go in the summer and between the heat and the water I always have to do several loads. I get up early and use the laundry at RPH. The room is large, there is a TV, and change machines. It's easy enough.

the washers if i remember are $2 and the driers where the same
t-and-a a lot of people , when staying at PBH go and use the laundry facility at HRH

@ RPR last month they have 2 laundry rooms.Tower1-Tower2 bottom floor. The price was $2.50 per wash cycle and $2.50 per dry.Ourselves like doing our own also.

LOL! Guess I should have specifies when I asked how much. I meant the washers and dryers not the service. Thanks for the response...I think we will bring enough to only do laundry once since we are driving down.

Thanks Robert! I may just do that.
