Question about land and sea

My question is....

...Has anyone every upgraded a land and sea package to conceirge (Spelling?) level rooms while on land? If so, what did it cost, and how did you do it? I am willing (maybe) to pay the extra. I don't want to relly on the upgrade fairy.

I contemplated doing that for my MAY '04 land/sea. The upgrade to concierge would have been both a treat for me for my birthday as well as insurance that I got an animal-filled view while staying at AKL. The concierge upgrade would have come to about $500 ( I had reserved a Cat. 8 on the ship) and I was going to do it but then found that I could guarantee a Savannah view room plus have meals and snacks at Boma or Mara for less so I opted for the Savannah view and less competition for my snacks...Hope this helps...
