Question about Kindle/eReader

I was just wondering if either of these has the ability to kinda have a "wish list" so to speak. Where I could put the books kind of on "hold" until I am ready to buy them. I wouldn't want to purchase a ton of books at once but would want to keep them somewhere so that I would remember I wanted them. Does that even make sense? When I go into Barnes and Noble I end up spending a ton because I buy tons of books that I want just so I don't forget I want them... you should see the shelf of books "to be read". Last time I went, I took pics of the books I wanted on my phone so that I could remember I wanted them. I know amazon has a wish list, but mine on there is so extensive because it is a few years old, I don't have the patience to go through it. TIA

I have a Kindle and there are 2 different ways to do a wish list. On the Amazon site I have a wish list that I have set up just for my Kindle. This list I use for times that I am browsing around on Amazon and find books I might like or if I am on my laptop and can easily get to the Amazon site.
Then, on the Kindle itself there is a 'save for later'. That function I use if I have my Kindle near me when I hear of a new book I might like. I can look it up and then put it on the 'save for later' list.
The 2 lists are not combinable (if that is a word) for instance, I cannot see my 'save for later' while on the Amazon site on my laptop.
I personally find it easiest to control my spending by having a set amount at each paycheck-browsing through my wish list on Amazon and my 'save for later'.. and then choosing books up to the amount I want to spend. Otherwise, I would spend my entire check!
If I find a book I really want it goes on one of the lists until my next paycheck.
HTH :goodvibes

Yes that is exactly what I wanted to know! Thank you so much. That save for later option so I am not overloading my phone with pics of books lol. Now all I have to do is finish reading all the books on my shelf before I buy a Kindle.... by then who knows what will be out haha
