Me, DH, DD3 and DD1 are going to WDW in Nov. We are hoping for free dining, and if we get it, this may not be a big deal.

My oldest princess will be 3 when we go. My question is can I add the DDP for my hubby and myself and just pay for DD3 out of pocket or do I have to add her to the DDP if we are on it? If we get free DDP, then it won't be that big of a deal, but I feel like she can eat of DH and myself's plate most of the time.

TIA!!!

You have to have the dining plan for each person on your reservation over the age of 2 so your oldest daughter will need to be on the plan.

However, in your case, the dining plan may be worthwhile even if you had to pay for her. The regular dining plan is only $15/day for a child. That would more than pay for itself if you plan to do any character meals and then she and your youngest one could share a CS meal each day if necessary. The kids meals come with grapes, applesauce, yogurts as possible sides at most places if you youngest one uses those as snacks.

2 and under eat free at the character, buffet and family style meals. At other table service meals, your 2 children could share the kids meal and supplement from the adult meals if necessary.

Sorry, if she's 3 and registered in your room you will need to get the plan for her. The dining plan is all or nothing - everybody age 3 or over in your room gets it, or none do.
