question about iron on transfers

Hello all,

I hope I am putting this in the right section. I was wondering if someone could give me some tips on iron on transfers. We will be headed down to WDW next month and I was thinking about making some shirts. My question is how do you get the transfers to transfer well on shirts other than white? I'm not going to do black or anything but I was thinking about maybe a pale pink or maybe some kind of green shirt. Is this possible?

Thanks for the reply but I want a Disney iron on transfer. I already have an idea of what I want to use on the transfer just needed advice on using a shirt color besides white.

So is this an already made design that you purchased from somewhere or are you printing a design onto a blank transfer to be ironed onto a shirt?

The previous poster was trying to tell you that the person they referred you to has some really great blank iron on transfers that you just print your graphic onto. A lot of people on the Dis Boards swear by them. To get a good transfer onto a shirt other than white you need to use what are called dark color transfers.

If this is a pre-made transfer that you purchased and are just ironing on, got no advice how to make it better.
