Question about iron on transfers

First of all: WOW!! Yall are very creative! Being somewhat creative myself, I have tried various iron on transfers in the past, some with decent results and some with disastrous results.

So my question: Is there a certain brand of transfers that is better than others and if so what?

And my other thought, has anyone used someone like Vistaprint to print their dis-signs on?

Thanks for the info!

I have never had anyone print them for me...so I can't help out there.

But, I have bought trasfers from this site...

http://www.amymickey.com/

They are GREAT!!! I never had a problem with them...and they stay on really well! Very easy to use!

She comes highly recommended on this board and I couldn't agree more :)

Amy Mickey ABSOLUTELY has the best transfers. They don't crack, fade, or run. Vistaprint won't print your shirts, and neither will most other commercial shirt printers because they don't want to be sued by Disney for copyright/trademark infringement. On the up-side, making your own shirts is surprisingly easy. I made 22 for our trip last year using Amy Mickey's transfers and they all came out beautifully (and I was a complete iron-on newbie)! :goodvibes

I just wanted to add to the comments about Amy's transfers. I've just placed my 4th order with her. These are the best iron on's I've ever tried! You can wash the shirts over and over and they still look great. And yes, they are super easy to do yourself - I'm not crafty at all but everyone loves the shirts I make.
