question about in room celebration..wasn't sure where to post this.

HI...I am thinking about doing something fun for a surprise for our girls for our trip in a little over 2 weeks. I was looking at the in room celebration packages and the prices are so crazy My friend did the halloween one and it was over 350$

Just curious if anyone has ever decorated their room at check in as a surprise for the kids? and if so what did you do? thanks for any input

I surprised DW with a romance package for our anniversary. I felt that the price was high but worth it for an adult. IMO, I don't think that we would spend that kind of money on the kids. Being at WDW is enough of a special event for them, and as you know, a Disney vacation isn't cheap.
