I just had my phone interview for the disney college program a couple hours ago and i have been looking for information on what to do if i do not want to live in the disney apartments. if i get accepted into the program the plan is for my boyfriend and his father to move down there with me and us three get a place together. so what should i do?

I don't know the email adress off my head but if you call the help line they can give it to you. Once you get accepted you send an email saying you're not living in Housing and I think you have to fill out a little paper work proving you have reliable transportation ect. Then they will take you off the housing list.

From what I understand from friends who have gone through the living off campus process this semester you have to already have some place set up to live when you contact them. Becuase they put in the extra $200 dollars for the first few weeks rent into the acceptance fee in order to not pay that portion they need proof of you living off site. I would definitly recommend contact recruiting and asking what the process would be. I'm sure they can let you know so that you can plan in case you do have to find someplace in advance.

When you are accepted you email housing declining to live in the housing. They need your acceptance number your name and where you will be living. (address) you still have to pay the 200 dollars and will be refunded

Hey Ashley do you happen to have the housing email that you sent your email to? I know I saw it somewhere amongst all my acceptance paperwork, but can't seem to find it. How quickly did they get back to you?

The same day. I sent my email in the morning. Include this information.

Full Name:

Applicant Number:

Program Dates:

Address (where you will be living):

Don't send them anything before your accepted though. They only handle accepted people. If you have any quesitions before you are accepted about it contact recruiting directly. I would still suggest to anyone who is thinking about not doing housing to do it. It will be a great experience and is a major part of the experience. I would love to live in housing but circumstances as they are I can't.

Thanks for the info! I've already been accepted, but my family lives 20 minutes from the parks and my fiancee would be coming back home with me to Orlando from where I am for school, so CP housing wouldn't really work as I'd be living with him.

thanks for all the information. ill just wait to see if i get accepted first and then go from there.
