Question about hotwire and credit cards

Does hotwire accept visa check cards for membership sign up and purchases or does it have to be a visa visa (a credit card)?

I did mine with a check card visa. So yes it will work

Excellent, not I will just have to see if DH will let me use his US based checking card, and if our friends will let us use their address as the shipping address.
