Question about Hojo's pool renovations

I am trying to decide between on-site hotels or Hojos. We love returning to the hotels in the afternoon and enjoying a rest and swim. So pool is really important to us. We are going at the beginning of July. Will the pool renovations be complete by then? Which pool is being renovated? Is the one with the fun kids stuff? If so, what other pools are available and what are they like? We would be very disappointed if we didn't have a nice and fun pool to enjoy with the kids.

The garden pool will have already been completely rennovated. It should be done this month. It is just a basic pool and I believe they are making it shallow so that the max depth will just be 5 feet. The main pool area will be started as soon as they finish the garden pool. The main pool (with Pirate theme and slide) is slated to be done by the beginning of July. However, I would make sure you stay in close touch with Lorealle just to make sure that everything is staying on schedule.

So the garden pool will be open in June? How about the hot tub?

Yep, the garden pool will be open. But there is no hot tub in that area, so no hot tub.

We'll be staying at Hojo's for 5 nights, and then spending a 6th night over at the DLH. That day will be mostly about hanging out at the Netherland Pool, and enjoying the hot tub that evening (plus going to the park some of course).

That helps makes up for not having the hot tub and main pool for us. Plus we are still saving a ton of money on the 5 nights at Hojo's, and we'll have a Disney View room. So we're excited about staying there.
