Question About Heathrow Terminal 3 Arrivals

Hello---I'm really helping someone on these boards can help out

This is a "Disney" related question in that we are taking the Disney Magic Med cruise in June 2013.

I am from California, and I am picking up my non-english speaking Aunt who will be arriving at Heathrow Terminal 3.

I am completely unfamiliar with Heathrow airport and I am so scared that she will get lost somehow coming out. Here are my questions

(1) Is there only one way to exit after a person comes out of baggage claim & immigration from Terminal 3?

(2) Is there a general area where people wait in Terminal 3 to pick people up? I will be taking Heathrow Express in from London to pick her up (we're arriving a day earlier).

(3) Will it be difficult to find the arrivals terminal at Terminal 3 coming off of Heathrow Express?

(4) I plan on looking for where chaffeurs are standing and standing alongside them. I figure these people are pros at picking people up. Good idea?

Sorry my answers are short but you've nothing to worry about!

1. Yes just one way out through some double doors passengers then come out into main terminal between sets of metal railings which widen like a funnel, people wait along the railings or at the end of them.

2.) yes it's the arrivals hall mentioned above and is clearly signposted you will have no trouble.

3.) not at all its very well signposted.

4.) good idea yes, they will all be waiting by the railings I mentioned in answer 1


Do not worry its all well signposted and there is only 1 way out!

Thank you thank you so much!! This helps me so much. My aunt's nervous, I'm nervous....it's just not a good combination

When I think of Heathrow Airport arrivals I think of that last scene in Love Actually where they all hug each other at the end.
