Question about health club facilities

If we are inviting my BIL and family (we are DVC they are not) will they be able to use the health club at the resort we stay at without charge, or is that only for the DVC member?

If they're staying with you, they can use the facilities without charge! Our guests have been very happy.

I can also tell you from my experience that they're very "loosy-goosy", at least at AKL and BC. about asking for ID. Neither place asked me for any ID or room key to use the health facilities. All I had to do when I came in was sign with my name and room #. I could have used any name! Have others' experiences been like this?

At VWL, they took my room key before I got the locker. Maybe this was because it was the day of check out. That's the only time I used the facilities there. My guests did use the facilites on many trips there, but I never asked the specifics. I did use locker/changing area at BC, and I don't think they took my key.

SSR was very strict about taking a room key when you checked in. They held it until you left.
