Question about getting DME from MCO

I'm probably overthinking this one. Our flight arrives at MCO at about 7:30 PM. I'll have my 9 and 5 year olds with us who will be HUNGRY by then. I don't have to rush down to DME to get on the bus, right? I was thinking that instead we would get off the plane and grab some dinner for the kids at the food court then head down. So I might not make it to DME until 45 minutes or so after landing.

Why not just take dinner on the plane with you? That's what we always do.

Thanks everyone, I see that McD's is open 24 hours and that will hold my kids over just fine.
Normally I try to bring stuff on the flight, but the last time I flew I had to go through extra security checking so they could verify the safety of my bagel. We are flying out of the NYC area the day after Easter this time and in case I don't get to grab things before boarding because of TSA lines and backups, I'd like to have options after we land.

She meant for you to just get food at the airport before you get on your flight. You will already be past TSA at this point.

I understood, that's why I said if I don't get to grab something before boarding because of TSA lines. One time we made it to the TSA line at JFK with more than 2 hours until boarding time. We got to our gate as they were opening the doors. So if that happens again, I want options for my kids when we land.

Actually, i didn't.

I always bring something from home. You can't bring liquids through security, but food is fine.
