I don't have an answer for you to your question but I do have to ask -- Do you really believe anyone in FL could make a crab cake that could even begin to compare with one from Kent Island? I refuse to buy crab cakes anywhere but in MD. Only Eastern Shore people know how to do it right!

I agree with you. I grew up there. I ate crab cakes at Olivia's on our last trip even though the server said I wouldn't like them. She was right.

Have you eaten at Fisherman's? I'm pretty far away now, but that's where my parents used to go for every special occasion.

I have to admit, I had no problem eating all that was on my plate.

OH, what I meant was that I wouldn't be able to eat all of the crab & have room for dessert I would have no problem eating the crab claws

Our traditional stop on the way to the ocean is Harris's, same general area. Best steamed crabs we've ever gotten.
