Question about front doors.

Do you know the tradition of painting the door of a church red when the mortgage is paid?

Oh by the way our front door is white.

ours is a dark blue, house is a lighter blue, shutters are black

When we had our house built in 1993 I asked for black shutters and was surprised to see they had put on a black door! I had them change the door color.
