Question about FL resident tickets??

We are going to WDW in June, my cousin lives in FL and we are staying with him.
My question, can he buy our tickets at the FL resident discount? and if so, does he have to go with us?

I'm a fl resident and I wanted to know the same thing. I wanted to buy my mom a ticket who lives in PA at the Fl resident discount, but its not allowed. They are very strict and require a FL resident ID from each adult. You must pick up the tickets at the gate so you can show FL ID.

I agree with Mickeysgirl17 - you have to show FL ID when exchanging the vouchers at guest services - here's what mousesavers.com and allearsnet.com shows about this:

Florida Resident Ticket Discounts
In order to qualify for Florida Resident pass discounts, you have to show proof of residency such as a valid Florida driver's license or Florida state ID card, showing a Florida address. These passes are also controlled using a biometric finger scan, to prevent them from being transferred to non-Florida residents. Disney has the system down to a science -- trust me, you really can't buy or use these passes unless you actually live in Florida!

I would love to know if there are going to be any discounts for the summer? I would have thought that they would be out by now. Especially since they announced about free dining. I hope they will come out soon! I would love to get any kind of discount. Are there any discounts for the 3rd week of June out yet?
