Question about FL rates in FEB

Hi everyone!

Disney's site won't give me any info on FL resident rates after the 15th of FEB. But when I check without the FL rate, the rates dramatically change from the two weeks before the 15th to the weeks after..(they are considerably higher after).

For example, the BC rates for two nites would run around $536 during the first two weeks, but then goes up to over $900 for two nites after the 15th!

So, my question is, will the rates go up for FL residents too? Generally, do the resort rates just increase during these dates?

Thanks for any info!

There is a season change involved with those dates - value season goes until Feb. 15 then it changes to peak season, which is considerably more expensive. If you check in by Feb 15, you can get value season rates for the entire time. FL residents rates will also be higher and yes, the rates are higher during peak season every year (though the dates can vary).

Here's a link to the season dates for 2006. http://www.mousesavers.com/seasondates2006.html
