So lets say i got a fast pass at 10am for Star Tours, and my return time was 5. Could i get another STAR TOURS fastpass at noon? or would i have to get one for a different ride?

Yes, you can get another fastpass 2 hours after you got your last one or after your return time on the one you have.

I want to think that you could get a FP for any OTHER ride at noon, but you'd have to wait till 5pm to get another "Star Tours" FP (& of course they'd probably be all gone by then).

Apologies to disneyfaninAZ if i'm wrong. Hopefully others will chime in for double confirmation.

:)

That's the way that I've always understood it (and the way that's been explained by others here).

No problem. I thought the OP meant for another ride, I wasn't even thinking of another one for Star Tours.

Yup! Any other ride yes, but not another Star Tours FP. AND, OP, it's worth mentioning that they might be out of FP's at 10:00 AM! I was there last week and they ran out of Star Tours FP's at 9:15 AM.

Oh, trust me i know. I'll be getting it ASAP. It was just easier numbers wise to say 10 o'clock :p

I'm still unsure about the same-ride-FP question, but my thought is that if the FPs at 10 a.m. were already for 5 p.m., it's unlikely they'd still have any for Star Tours at noon when you could get another.

OK I thought I understood FP's at DL - but I thought they were like WDW in that you could get another for the same ride based on whatever it says on your FP. (I think that's how it worked, right)?

So, is the 'not being able to get another FP for the same ride' after 2 hours JUST for Star Tours, or is that all rides?

And when you say you have to wait until 5 pm, do you mean whatever your return time is? Which of course they will be gone by then anyway, but just for clarification.

Thanks!

Just to be clear, my question wasnt about Star Tours.. it was about any FP ride. It could go the same for Space or Indy too.
I just wanted to know if i could get a FP for a ride, and then when the 2 hours are up, if i could get another for the SAME ride if i hadnt used the first one.

You don't have to USE the first FP in order to get a 2nd FP for the same ride. You just have wait until the time window to come. So in the scenario above, if you grabbed a FP at 10:00 and the return time was at 5:00, you can get a FP for that same ride at 5:00 even if you haven't used your original FP's yet.

DLR and WDW are different in this regard. I tested it at WDW in March. If your FP window is more than 2 hours away, you can get a FP for anything including the same ride after 2 hours.

DLR has an exception they do not publish. You can get a FP for anything after 2 hours except the ride on which you got the FP. You cannot get another for that ride until its FP window opens.

In your case you could get a FP for any other DL ride at Noon (2 hours after the 10AM FP distribution) but not for ST until 5PM - at which time they would be gone for the day.

Thanks HydroGuy, you totally understood what i was trying to say :thumbsup2

Great clarification between DLR and WDW, HydroGuy. I never knew that.
