What time is the show? Also, what nights? And one more thing...
Would you all do the fantasmic dinner package just to get better seating even if you weren't particularly interested in any of the restaurants? I want to either do dinner at Prime Time, or lunch at Sci Fi the day that we do Fantasmic, but if the dinner package is worth it and there is a really good restuarant that goes with the package then I would be willing to do that. I know that H&V and Mama Melrose do the package, and I think Brown Derby too (but that is out, I don't want to spend two ts meals at Brown Derby), but I havent heard very good or very consistent reviews about either. Help!!!!

It's held every night when the park closes. The time changes depending on what time of year you are going. Just go to Disney.com and look for the time you are going and see what time it is playing.

The package seats are NOT better, they are just guaranteed. I don't think the package is necessary in the off season but it can be worth it in peak season on during certain holidays.

We're travelling over Halloween period. Do you think it would be worth it then?

We did Fantasmic without the package on a Friday, October 27, 2006. We entered the stadium at 45 minutes before (wanted to get in there at an hour before but we were running late) and although it was more crowded than the end of August and Sept when we entered at one hour before also without the package, we still got great seats in the center, near the front. There were still plenty of seats to the left and right.

Good luck deciding.
