Question about Extra Nights

We will likely book one or two nights before our Adventure begins in Prague. We have Marriott points to get free rooms. I believe we will be on our own for transfers in that case, but that is fine.
For those of you who have booked pre-nights on your own at the same hotel, have you been able to stay in the same room?
Also, if you have status with that hotel, are you eligible for upgrades or hotel perks during your stay with ABD (such as concierge floor)

Transfers in Prague are very easy. You can get a taxi from the airport to downtown for about $20.00 bucks or so. Just a 15 minute ride (approx.) outside the city. We did a tour with another group and we did stay in the same room for our post stay even after the group paid for one of those nights stay. We just informed the front desk and they were very nice. Prague is very walkable and there are kiosks downtown that offer all different tours for what ever you want to see. As far as hotel rewards I don't know much about that but the Marriot we stayed the service was outstanding.
