Hi all!

So, I need some clarification please...

I just finished watching Stan's video sample that he sends out and one of the couples had an Escape Wedding but their reception was at Whitehall..

Bride Courtney, are you out there? if so....hello and you were a beautiful bride!!

Ok, anyway...now I'm confused because I didn't think that room could be booked for Escape Weddings only Wishes..

So, my question is...is there some sort of list that anyone has that included all the recepton dinner options for Escape brides?

Can anybody help me out? I thought I had to book the reception dinner myself and just pick a restaurant...and I was going with Jiko, which I might still do, but now I'm thinking that I don't know what all my options really are....but now I think I may have misunderstood...can anybody clarify for me?

Thanks!

I don't know why whe was having her reception at Whitehall... I don't know how that works. The only thing I can think of is that she might of had a small amount of people, but still did a custom wedding... still somehow managed to pay 10,000 for a smaller group... hey, it's possible. I'm sadly well on my way. That's just a thought though... I don't know.

You can also do private dining at Disney for your reception. They all have minimums that must be met... around 1500 to 2000 average. I'm doing mine at Shula's Steakhouse at the Dolphin. We have a beautiful private room and the minimum will be met easily with their fantastic wine list. :lmao:

Hope this helps, not too sure, but ask me anything else and I'll try to answer for you! ;)

Yeah, I saw that same video! So, I think she probably booked a private dinner. Any reception after an escape ceremony is booked solely on your own.

Were you able to do some decorations. I would love to be able to do that

I talked to my escape planner about setting up a dinner someplace if I couldn't get reservations I wanted. She assured me that she would help me get whatever I wanted, but I would have to pay the food and beverage minimum for whatever venue she helped me out with.

I'm deciding between Disney Floral doing them... simple roses to match my bouquet in glass bowls with colored smooth stones on the bottom or having my mom do them (she IS Martha Stewart :rotfl: )for cheaper and plus she's insisting, but I want her to enjoy her time not stress out over flowers. So, I'm still deciding, but to answer your question yes you can do decorations either brought in or your own and Shula's is awesome with all my requests... they're very easy to work with! :goodvibes
