Question about Epcot pin event

I'm reading sites on this event and I'm seeing things about pre-registration and such. If you're just going to browse and look around do you have to register or anything? I'm actually only really interested in going upstairs in the Imagination pavillion. Will the public be allowed up there?

The only thing you have to register for is the Breakfast Event, which will end at noon on Friday. After that, everyone is welcome to go into any of the pin areas and explore to their heart's content.
