I have a question for those who have enjoyed the Early Entry offered to Disney Hotel guests. How do they verify that you are a hotel guest for that day? Do they swipe your room key card, look at it for dates, or what? In August, we will be checking in to the Disneyland Hotel on a Tuesday, checking out on Thursday, but returning for one more day of Disneyland on Friday. (Staying at another off-site hotel on Thursday--don't ask, its a long story.) Do you think there's any way we'd be able to get in on the early entry Friday morning?

You must show a valid room key that will have the dates of your stay. You will be entitled to Extra Magic Hour on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday but not Friday.

The extra magic hour for hotel guests has been extended to every day of the week through the latter part of September. My question is, do they actually scan the card, or do they just look at it?

My DH used this on Monday. He said at DCA they definitely looked at the dates to verify it was valid.
