Question about Early Breakfast PS

When we were there in 2001, we had no problem driving to the park for an early PS before the park opened. (example, ps @ 8:00, park doesn't open until 9:00). But, I have been reading that you can't do that anymore. Is that true? Do we need to be prepared to take the busses?

We had several PS last fall before park opening, and we used the busses without a problem. We didn't have a car anyway, but we were always there in plenty of time for our PS and had to wait at the gates to be let in for our PS. I would assume there were people driving though.

We drove to the MK for an 8:05 a.m. PS at Cinderella's Royal Table last month, and had no trouble getting in to park and taking an early monorail from the TTC to MK.

We have an early PS for Crystal Palace (8:10). We really like to ride the bus to get to the front of the MK and by-pass the TTC ferry/monorail route. Will we be able to get a bus at about 7:45? I read somewhere that they have special buses for character meals. Do we need to check with our hotel? (We are staying at PO-FQ.)
