We showed up at 12:30 PM last May, and we checked in right away without any questions. The lovely woman at the checkin desk said it was easier for them if people showed up early -- smaller crowd, shorter lines at 4 PM.
We are Wyndham owners, and I don't know if that made any difference.

One thing you need to be aware of is the "Parking Pass Dance."
[First of all, you need to understand that Wyndham timeshare resorts are wonderful.
However, Wyndham's timeshare sales staff are among the sleaziest in a shoddy industry. They are the kind of sales personnel who give the timeshare industry a justifiable bad name.]
At Wyndham timeshares, you will be asked to go to the "Parking Pass Desk" to get your parking pass. The "parking pass desk" is staffed by timeshare salespersons lovingly referred to as "body-snatchers." Their job is to get you to agree to participate in a timeshare sales presentation.
If you decline, and they can't budge you off that, they will ask you to take a "survey." "Survey" is weasel-speak for timeshare sales presentation. No matter what they ask you -- it's a timeshare sales presentation.
There are a couple of strategies for dealing with body-snatchers. One is to just say no, firmly and emphatically. However, they are used to that and will use every trick in the book -- including telling you it's probably not affordable for you anyway and lots of other lies.
There are lots of dodges to get around the body-snatchers, but the best is to realize that a parking pass is NOT required. And to also understand that the body-snatchers go home at a reasonable hour, but the front desk is always staffed. Go to dinner, come back to the front desk and get your "parking pass" from the gracious, professional resort staff without any hassle.
And then, when you go to your room...unplug the phone. Anybody YOU want to talk to has your cell phone number.
