Hi Everyone!!!
Looking forward to my 4th disney trip next spring, and my first time staying at the Poly!! WOOO!!

I do have a question regarding check in and the dining plan.

We will be spending our first 2 nights of our vacation at another major orlando theme park resort (one we dont speak of shhhh;)). On the day we move from that resort to the poly, i wanna use that as a park day as well. Im not a fan of online check in, so i would want to check in at the poly in the morning and go straight to the park after that. Im completely okay with the room not being ready yet as we are going to the parks anyway, but would they be able to do it similar to online check in and text me when its ready?

Alos, we will have the dining plan and intend on doing a lunch reservation that day as well. If i check in early (in person), can they just activate the dining plan, or do i have to wait until a room is assigned to me?

I hope that makes sense, and i know its a very specific situation, but just checking to see if anyone can help me out )

Thanks in advanced! :earsboy:

You don't in fact, have to check in, in person.

You can do on line check in and indicate that you are arriving early.

OP said they are not fans of online check in and are asking about checking in in person at the Poly and activating their DDP.
OP, yes you can do what you described.
Have Fun
