Question about DxL rooms?

We will be staying at DxL in March on points. When I made the ressies MS asked if I wanted a standard or waterview. Points being the same for both I of course requested the waterview. I have only stayed at DxL one other time for a short stay and can't quite remember the layout. I do recall staying "far" away from the pool and food court. Any suggestions for rooms with close proximity to pool and food court. My toddler gets very tired and my 4 year old also wants to be carried after a long day (who doesn't!). Any suggestions will be appreciated.

We stayed there about 7 years ago. I believe it was the magnolia building. just across the bridge to the pool and then to the food court. great location. Out the back was the bus stop as well. There was a quite pool off to the side of the building. Take a look at the resort map. go back to the home page here and click on resort maps. We had a waterview.

Just so you're aware, 'water view' at DxL is a lot like 'preferred view' at BWV; you MAY have a view of the river or bayou, but you also may have a view of one of the quiet pools instead.
