We are traveling with another family, but they are not as "Disney savvy" as we are, so I am making the ADRs for everyone. I am making them online, but there will be a few times when they have a meal at a different place than us at (about) the same time. So, it will appear as if we are double booked when we do indeed intend to use both reservations. Any tips on how to do this without one of our ADRs getting dropped?

I would definately put them in different names. When I tried to make my adr online, I put them under my name and when I went to check out it said there was an error and nothing was processed. Well, I went back in and did them under my moms name. Come to find out we had them booked under both our names for the same time:headache: So if I were you I would call in and tell them you need reservations and give them your name for your set and the other parties name for theirs

I was really trying to avoid having to call and sit on hold. I suppose there is no reason I can't just put her name and phone number when I do it online, right? I haven't used the online system yet, I guess I need to play around with it.

Book yours under your reservation number and book theirs using their reservation number. That way they will each be under different names and numbers.

exactly right - but you will need the phone number on file for each reservatin or it won't retrieve the info for you.

I guess I should have added that we're staying offsite (we're renting a house together), which is why I am struggling with this in the first place. Otherwise I would just do it as you all have said using the reservation numbers.

Ugh! Why am I stressing so much about this?

Okay, so just put in their name and phone number for their dining reservations and you won't have any problem. You will have to complete yours and then do theirs separately. You won't have any problems that way.
