Question about double booking

I made a 6:30 ADR for LeCellier, but later that day I called and changed my time to 6pm and cancelled the 6:30. I though that was the end of it, but when I called back to verify my ADR's, the first reservation had not cancelled...even though the first CM told me it had. This is really concerning me, because I've had problems with updated information being stored in Disney's system.

What will happen if the first ADR doesn't cancel? That will mean I'm double booked! Will they cancel both of my ADR's?

Did you ask the second CM to cancel the 6:30 ADR? Keep the numbers for both and record the transaction info. As long as you are on time they'll take care of you.

Yes, she told me it was cancelled. I'm going to call back today and double check. I do have both confirmation numbers just in case, though.

I did call again and verify that is was cancelled. Just a suggestion....but I would encourage everyone to double check all ADR's. Especially if you have made changes like I have. I've had them not cancel ADR's in the past too...didn't find out until I called to verify.

If you are double-booked, Dis will cancel both? My TA suggested that I double book for one night of our vacation in June. We wanted Teppan Edo, but they are "officially" not on DDP yet. She said to double-book something else, just in case they don't get the DDP, so we will have some place to eat that we want.

I've never heard of the double book cancel thing.
