Question about docs and cabin #'s

I'm just looking through our docs now and the luggage tags have our original cabin number on them and an "A" next to that. This isn't our cabin # now...should I cross out the old number and put the new one in? I don't want our luggage getting lost.

When we were upgraded, we were instructed to cross out the number on our tags and write in the new number. In addition, the porters at the terminal have a list of cabin numbers and names, and will check it for you.

Worst case, just tell your room steward what your old number was, and he will get your luggage to you quickly.

Thanks!! I wasn't sure how the check in at the port went. I feel better knowing they'll check our cabin # on their list!
