Question about DLH, GAD, and Magic Mornings

I just booked the Disneyland hotel for October my family has GAD passes and I dont think we will be upgrading. So my questions are:

Since we are staying at the disneyland hotel we get magic mornings correct?

But since we are using GAD we have to wait the morning of the day we use them right?

Is there a place at DLH to do this on the morning of magic mornings (Sunday) or would it be easier to do this at the main gate?

Will they be open that early to redeem the GAD passes and use magic mornings?

Also what time are the magic mornings usually?

Staying onsite does give you MMs for the Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays during your stay.

Ticket booths are open before the gates open, even for MM. Be there early early so you can get to the first booth and then hop in line asap.

MM starts an hour before normal park opening time. If you check disneyland.com they have a park hours calendar on there that will tell you exactly what times the park opens, along with MM time.


You didn't ask but with DLH it comes up...the monorail *can* be a nice way to get straight to Tomorrowland, and some use it for MMs, but you can generally walk through DTD and go in the main gates and get where you need to go faster than wiath the monorail, since the monorail generally does not start running until *after* the opening of the park (at MM hour for MM days, at normal hour for normal days). An early riser and brisk walker can definitely get places faster than the monorail, when using it to get into the parks at opening time (MM time on MM days).

you have to redeem the GAD passes at the ticket booths. They open 1 hour before park opens.
