We have never stayed offsite, my question is if you stay offsite, when in the parks can you use the transportation to go to resorts, other parks etc.
Like if we are at MK and want to go over to the Poly? and then if we are at the Poly and want to go on the monorail to GF? or is all that only if you are staying onsite?
hopefully this isn't too dumb of a question!

Not a dumb question at all. Yes, you can use Disney Transportation. Have a good time!

Technically you're not supposed to, it's a benefit of staying onsite, but I have never had ANYONE check to see if I was staying at a resort when I entered the bus.

Not quite the case. Disney transportation is available to any guest holding valid park tickets as well as onsite resort guests.

Technically correct, but I've never had anyone check either...... at least not in the last 15 years - before that my memory is kind of hazy! :lmao:

You're right, I haven't seen anyone checking for many years myself. I do remember CMs checking at the TTC back during our first couple of visits to WDW (1979, 1982).
