Hi,

Ok so we are off to WDW next August (have not been since 1992 so I am sure lots has changed!)

We have bought the 14 day Ultimate Disney Pass which seems to give access to everywhere Disney from what I could see. My question is this - does it cover free access to Disney quest and if so is it all free once you are in there?

Disney quest sounds great - I want to design my own rollercoaster and then take a ride on it (saw that on the free holiday planning DVD we got from disney website)

Anyway, any info about Disney Quest would be cool - I could not see any on here.

Claire

Yes, you will gain entry with an Ultimate Ticket. As for what it is ... a large, dark amusement arcade with a few items that might be worth a look.

Straight to the point as always mate.

Hi! I think it's all free once inside - apart from the optional extras such as a DVD of you enjoying your custom-made rollercoaster experience... I went this summer - haven't been for ages, expected nothing and had a great time. Love the Animation Academy where you get a tutorial in how to draw different characters. And the Pirates of the Caribbean ride is cool too. Downside is the wait to get in as they only allow so many people in at a time and the queues for some of the attractions. My tip would be to get there prior to opening at 11.30 am and queue for POTC first! :thumbsup2

We love DQ, 1st time we went in at opening thought we would spend 3 or 4 hours there. They had to kick us out at closing.
We have been 3 times now and going back at Xmas for our 4th time.
Like everything else you have to try it once to see if its for you.
Don't go on a rainy day if you can help it as everyone else does.

Another one here who loves Disney Quest, well worth a visit if you have the 14 day ultimate ticket as it is included in the price. Good point already made is to try to avoid it if its raining as it does get very busy. :goodvibes

thanks for the advice - I will deffo check it out. Sounds like something my son and I would like anyway (will send Nanny and Aunty off shopping that day :rotfl2: )

I really need to make an effort to go to DQ. After all the times I have been there I still haven't managed it.

Didn't I read somewhere that DQ will be closing very soon?

David

As far as I know its still only a rumour and has been a rumour for over a year now. If you google "DQ closing" all the talk says rumour in the text somewhere.
Even though we love it they don't seem to spend anything on it so maybe it will go eventually.
