Are Disney gift cards good throughout Downtown Disney including places not Disney-owned like House of Blues, Ghirardelli's, Rainforest, etc.?

No. Only at the disney owned places. There should be a list of participating locations somewhere on there website. But thats always subject to change anyway.

Thanks. The website just says "participating locations" but I can't see to find a list of what those locations might be.

Actually, at WDW DTD, most locations do accept the gift card. If it's not Disney-owned, just ask them. I know Rainforest and HoB take it. I think Ghirardelli does, too. At DLR DTD, only the Disney locations take the card.
