Question about Disney gift cards from Target?

I purchased quite a few with my rewards card for our upcoming trip to use to pay for food in the parks, souvenirs, etc. Do I need to scratch off the area on the back of each one prior to using?

No, you will not need to do this. However, if you want to keep a record of the cards in case they should be lost or stolen, the last couple of digits of the serial number are hidden under the scratch off area. So you will need to remove it if you want to get the entire serial number.
